The Xlim 3 Ultra uses the proven OXVA Xlim V3 Top-Fill pod system and is backwards compatible with V2 pods. The coil selection covers the full spectrum from classic MTL to light RDL: • 1.2Ω Mesh Coil (recommended 8–12W): Ideal for a classic mouth-to-lung draw with tight airflow. Perfect for nicotine salt e-liquids (10–20 mg/ml) and 50/50 freebase e-liquids (6–12 mg/ml). Delivers the strongest throat hit. • 0.8Ω Mesh Coil (recommended 12–16W): The all-rounder for getting started. Combines good flavour with economical e-liquid consumption. Recommended for 50/50 e-liquids and nicotine salts. • 0.6Ω Mesh Coil (recommended 16–22W): Significantly more vapour and an airier draw for RDL beginners. Works reliably with 50/50 and 60/40 VG/PG e-liquids. • 0.4Ω Mesh Coil (recommended 22–30W): Maximum device power for the airiest RDL draw. We recommend e-liquids with a higher VG content (60/40 or 70/30) to avoid dry hits. General rule: The lower the resistance, the higher the wattage and VG content should be. For all coils, 50/50 e-liquids are the sweet spot for flavour and coil longevity.

Daily Operation & Maintenance Tips

First fill: Insert the new pod, fill it completely through the side port, and let it soak for at least 5–10 minutes so the cotton becomes fully saturated. Even better: take 2–3 dry pulls without firing (priming puffs) to help the e-liquid flow. Wattage: Use the automatic coil detection as a starting point and work your way up gradually – too high a wattage drastically shortens coil life. Daily use: Keep the e-liquid level above the coil openings to prevent the cotton from burning. Replace the pod at the latest when flavour fades or a slightly burnt aftertaste appears – typically after 1–2 weeks depending on the e-liquid. Maintenance: Clean the pod base weekly with a cotton bud to remove condensation. It's best to charge the battery between roughly 20–80% and avoid leaving it fully charged overnight to maximise battery lifespan.
