Bottle size How much finished liquid do you want?
InfoChubby Gorilla bottles actually hold a little more than the label says: a 60 ml bottle comfortably takes 60 ml of mixture, a 120 ml bottle 120 ml. For a new flavour, test 30 ml first and scale up from there. Up to 1 litre at a time: the set below then switches to the 1 litre base automatically and works out the number of shots for you.

- The manufacturer's figure on the bottle always takes priority. It's better to under-dose and add a little more later — too much flavouring tastes like perfume.

- 50/50: thin, intense flavour, more throat hit — a must for pods and MTL devices, otherwise you'll get dry hits.
- 70/30: thicker, dense vapour, smoother draw — the standard for sub-Ohm tanks.
- 80/20 and Max VG: cloud chasing, only in powerful devices; if you're sensitive to PG, go for Max VG.

Tip: store in a dark place at room temperature and give it a quick shake daily. Steeping rounds off harsh edges – it doesn't replace richer flavour.

Why: thick 70/30 base wicks too slowly through fine pod coils and tastes burnt (dry hit). Thin 50/50 base, on the other hand, leaks out of large sub-ohm tanks.

Nicotine vs. nicotine salt: freebase nicotine gives a throat hit and works more slowly; nicotine salt is smooth and hits fast – which is why high strengths belong in salt form and pods, never in sub-ohm devices.

Add flavour and shots
Pour the flavour into the empty bottle first, then the calculated amount of nicotine shot – a syringe makes this easiest.

Top up with base
Fill the rest up to the total volume with base in the matching ratio – 50/50 for pods, 70/30 for sub-ohm.

Shake and steep
Seal tightly, shake hard for two minutes and leave to steep in the dark for anything from one to 21 days, depending on the flavour.
PG and VG: which ratio fits?
Every base is made up of propylene glycol (PG – flavour carrier and throat hit) and vegetable glycerine (VG – vapour production and sweetness).

Getting nicotine shots right
A 10 ml shot at 20 mg/ml contains 200 mg of nicotine. Divide that by the total volume and you get the strength.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions about mixing e-liquid
For 60 ml at 3 mg/ml you need 9 ml of a 20 mg shot – in practice almost a full 10 ml bottle. Use the whole shot and you land at 3.3 mg/ml, which makes no practical difference.
Classic nicotine shots give that traditional throat hit and kick in more slowly. Nicotine salt is very smooth thanks to its adjusted pH level, ramps up faster and is suited to pods and strengths from 6 mg upwards. The maths is the same for both.
Fruit and menthol are ready after 1–3 days; dessert and vanilla need 7–14 days; tobacco takes up to three weeks. Store cool, dry and dark, giving it a quick shake daily. Opened base and shots keep for many months this way.
The base is usually too thick for the hardware: 70/30 in a pod doesn't wick fast enough – dry hit. The opposite problem is too much classic nicotine causing harshness. For pods, use 50/50 and a maximum of 12 mg, either freebase or nicotine salt.
Yes. Switch to “Multiple” above and dose each flavour individually. The rule stays within the single-flavour range: two fruit flavours together should total 8–10 %, not 2 × 10 %.
