Coil Pairing Matrix & Draw Experience

The Drag H40 Pro uses VooPoo PnP-X coils exclusively. Recommended options: PnP-X 1.2 Ω (10–15W) for classic MTL with 50/50 e-liquids or nicotine salts (10–20 mg/ml); PnP-X 0.8 Ω (12–18W) for slightly restrictive MTL/RDL; PnP-X 0.6 Ω (20–28W) for warm RDL with 50/50 or slightly VG-heavy e-liquids; PnP-X 0.3 Ω (32–40W) for high-vapour RDL with high-VG e-liquids (70 VG and above). Important: With high-VG e-liquids, open the airflow slightly wider to avoid dry hits. Original PnP coils (without X) fit mechanically, but are not recommended, as the PnP-X series features tighter seals and better e-liquid wicking.

Daily Operation & Maintenance Tips

Before first use: fill the pod and let the coil steep for at least 5–10 minutes so the wicking material is fully saturated – this significantly extends coil life. Start at the lower end of the recommended wattage and increase gradually. Slowly close the airflow on the pod until the draw resistance matches your style. Clean the pod contacts every 1–2 weeks with a cotton swab to avoid error messages. Charge the device via the USB-C port, but avoid leaving it on charge overnight. If you notice flavour loss or a slight throat scratchiness, it's time to change the coil.
