Coil Pairing Matrix & Draw Experience

The KIWI Spark Pods feature a permanently integrated mesh coil that cannot be replaced separately – when performance drops, the entire pod should be swapped out. Depending on the variant, resistances range from approximately 0.8 Ω to 1.2 Ω. The higher-resistance variant (1.0–1.2 Ω) is ideal for classic MTL vaping and works excellently with 50/50 e-liquids as well as nicotine salt liquids at 10–20 mg/ml. The lower-resistance variant (0.8 Ω) produces slightly more vapour and also handles 50/50 blends, but can also be used with slightly higher-VG liquids (up to 60 VG max). High-VG liquids (70 VG and above) are not recommended for these pods, as the wicking channels are tuned for thinner liquids.

Daily Operation & Maintenance Tips

Always prime a new pod: Fill from the bottom through the fill port, then let it sit for at least 5–10 minutes so the wick becomes fully saturated. Take the first few draws without activating the heating element ("air-draw") to help the liquid settle into the coil. Avoid overfilling past the maximum fill line and always close the fill port securely to prevent leaks. If you notice reduced flavour, gurgling sounds or a noticeably darkened wick, it's time to replace the pod.
