Coil Pairing Matrix & Draw Experience

The Aspire Nautilus BVC Mini Coils are available in several resistance options to suit different vaping preferences. The 1.8 Ω variant is perfect for classic MTL vapers who prefer a lighter draw and efficient e-liquid consumption – recommended at around 10–12 W. The 1.6 Ω variant produces slightly more vapour and a more intense flavour at approximately 12–14 W. Both variants are designed for 50/50 (PG/VG) e-liquids and nicotine salt liquids. High-VG liquids (above 60% VG) should be avoided due to the tighter coil winding, as they can cause dry hits and premature coil wear.

Daily Operation & Maintenance Tips

For maximum coil lifespan and flavour, we recommend priming your new coil thoroughly before first use: drip a few drops of e-liquid directly onto the visible cotton and the side wicking ports, install the coil, fill your tank, and let the setup steep for at least 5–10 minutes. Start at the lower end of the recommended wattage range and gradually increase. Avoid heavily sweetened e-liquids, as they significantly shorten coil life. When you notice reduced flavour or a slight throat scratchiness, it's time to replace the coil.
