Coil Pairing Matrix & Draw Experience

The Pixo Ultra uses Aspire's proven APS coil ecosystem. The 0.4 ohm mesh coil delivers dense RDL draws in the 20–30 W range and handles high-VG e-liquids (70 VG and above). The 0.6 ohm mesh coil operates between 15–25 W and is ideal for hybrid vapers who appreciate both vapour and flavour – we recommend 50/50 e-liquids or slightly VG-leaning blends. The 1.0 ohm Kanthal coil is the classic choice for MTL and nicotine salt e-liquids (10–16 W); it provides a tight, tobacco-like draw with economical e-liquid consumption. Tip: Always choose the 1.0 ohm coil for nicotine salts to avoid excessive nicotine intake.

Daily Operation & Maintenance Tips

For the first fill, remove the pod, open the silicone cap on the side and fill slowly – keeping the central coil chamber dry. After filling, let it steep for at least 5–10 minutes so the cotton is fully saturated; vaping too early leads to dry hits and significantly shortens coil life. The airflow control on the side of the pod helps with fine-tuning: fully open for RDL, nearly closed for MTL. Clean the pod contact area every 1–2 weeks with a cotton swab to remove condensation deposits. It's best to charge the battery via USB-C at around 20% remaining capacity to preserve the cell long-term.
