The ELFX Refillable Pod features a permanently integrated dual mesh coil. The advantage of the dual mesh design is the significantly larger heating surface compared to a classic single coil: the e-liquid is vaporised more evenly, the flavour remains more stable throughout the lifespan, and the vapour is noticeably denser. Since the coil is built into the pod, the entire pod is replaced as a consumable part once the flavour begins to fade – typically after several refills, depending on e-liquid sweetness and usage frequency. E-liquid recommendation: The dual mesh coil works best with 50/50 PG/VG e-liquids as well as nicotine salt e-liquids (nic salts) for a smooth, throat-irritation-free vaping experience. High-VG e-liquids (70 VG and above) are less suitable, as the coil is tuned for MTL/RDL vaping and thicker liquids can slow down wicking. Sweet, heavily sugared e-liquids shorten coil lifespan – when in doubt, opt for milder flavours.

Daily Operation & Maintenance Tips

First fill & coil priming: Fill the pod through the fill port with your chosen e-liquid and let it sit for at least 5–10 minutes so the wick of the dual mesh coil is fully saturated. Vaping too early risks a so-called dry hit with a burnt taste – the coil would then be permanently damaged. Everyday tips: Never let the e-liquid level run completely empty – refill in time to keep the wick moist. Avoid extremely sweet e-liquids to maximise coil lifespan. Do not store the pod in direct sunlight or lying in your trouser pocket to minimise leakage. If the flavour turns stale or noticeably weakens, replace the entire pod with a new one.
