Coil Pairing Matrix & Draw Experience

The ELFX works with two pre-built ELFX pods featuring dual-mesh coils. The 0.8 Ω pod is ideal for classic MTL vaping at around 13–16W and pairs perfectly with 50/50 e-liquids and nicotine salt liquids (10–20 mg/ml) – perfect for switchers looking for a tight, nicotine-rich draw. The 0.6 Ω pod delivers slightly more vapour at around 18–22W and suits RDL-style vaping with a slightly airier draw; we recommend 50/50 e-liquids or liquids with a maximum of 60% VG to keep the wick saturated quickly. High-VG liquids (70% VG and above) are unsuitable for both pods, as the capillary action of the mesh coil will not keep up. The dual-mesh design doubles the heated surface area, resulting in more even vaporisation, clearer flavour and a noticeably longer coil lifespan of approximately 1–2 weeks.

Daily Operation & Maintenance Tips

For the first fill, remove the pod from the device, open the silicone cap on the side and slowly drip the e-liquid down the side wall – do not pour it directly into the centre. After filling, let the pod sit for 5–10 minutes so the dual-mesh coil becomes fully saturated; vaping too soon leads to dry hits and drastically shortens coil life. Start with a few short puffs without actively drawing ("priming puffs") to build up the pressure. Clean the pod chamber and contacts weekly with a dry cotton swab to remove condensation and e-liquid residue. It's best to charge the device via USB-C at around 20% remaining battery and avoid full deep discharges for long battery health.
